BREAST IMPLANT REVISION
A cosmetic surgery procedure involving the removal and/or replacement of breast implants to correct complications that have occurred after implant-based breast reconstruction.
An incision is made around the areola or under the fold of the breast to retrieve and replace the implants.

This is suitable for patients who have experienced:
- Unsatisfactory result from implant-based augmentation
- Implant leakage or rupture.
- Capsular contracture
- Change in size or shape of their breasts due to the implants.
How long does it take?
The procedure lasts from 3 – 4 hours.
How long is the downtime?
2 to 4 weeks. The scars may take several months to one year to completely heal.
